What is Felting?

Felting is a process that has been used for hundreds of years to create warm, durable and weather-resistant fabrics and clothing. Natural felted fabrics are made from wool, most often. The structure of wool fibers is what makes felting possible. Microscopic scales and kinks allow the individual fibers to lock together and form a cohesive fabric. This strong and durable fabric is what makes our items so beautiful and unique.

What are your felted products made of?

Our products are made of 100% natural fibers, mainly sheep's wool.

How do I clean and care for my product?

Our hats are very rugged. As long as you wash with cold water only and air dry it, it will last for years.

To clean, hand-wash in cold water with a gentle detergent. Wrap in a towel to remove excess moisture. For hats or other rounded items, form around a rolled towel, bowl or other appropriately shaped object and block out the brim to shape and then air dry thoroughly. For other items simply lay flat to dry.

Surface moisture due to weather can simply be shaken off the item. If it becomes damp, dry as described above.

Do you fill special orders?

Yes!

How can I pay for my purchase?

We accept payment through PayPal.com. PayPal is a safe and secure payment service which allows for quick and easy transactions. PayPal accepts all major credit cards. It also allows you to set up an account for even quicker payments for your online purchases, but an account is never required to use the PayPal service.

Can I return an item I've purchased?
