Leah started out her hat-making career by learning the craft from her mother, Michelle. Before long she was making her own hats and designs that capture the rustic and rugged colors of the outdoors which she loves while at the same time combining the more traditional cloche and peruvian styles.

Stephen has been crocheting for many years, so the transition to the craft of hat-making came easily. Leah and Michelle showed him the ropes and he is now an active participant in the hat making world. Having a background in computers, he also designed and maintains the site.
